Sorry I have not posted anything for the past week and a half. I have been very busy with typing reports and preparing for the end of year.
So What Has Happened In The Past Week?
Kids on Kids - Room 8 as part of the M team sang at the Town Hall. Thank you to all the parents for bringing your children to the show. No one was late, so I don't need to shame anyone. The children looked amazing with their Chritmas colours on and even Bowen's at got a mention. That's pretty good. The children were amazing on the night. One person I noticed singing loudly was Joshua K. When I was watching him sing 'Grandma got run over by a Reindeer', he was moving and shaking. It was funny from where I was sitting. I even saw Jonty singing, truly amazing. I think these boys should do a solo at assembly. I'm not allowed to mention that some of the girls used the boys toilets, so I won't. Please do not ask.
Inquiry: The children in Room 8 are continuing their inquiry on their chosen Commonwealth country. The children have explored on the internet and found many interesting facts about their chosen country. Madeline and Emma have been working steadily finding information about Scotland. I have read the start of Phoebe's speech and so far it is amazing. I can't wait to see and hear the finished product. The children have also used MS Powerpoint to make a background for when they say their speech about the country they are learning about. I will let parents know when the speeches are going to be presented so that you may come and hopefully watch your child. No promises, it is very busy but I intend to invite you all.
Swimming: Next week the children will be swimming and they will need to ensure they have their togs, towel and goggles. Please ensure that these items are named. No sports gear will be required in the week.
If I think of anything else I will make a post.
Also I will add some pictures in the coming days of the Kids to Kids concert.
Many thanks,
Mister A
