Hello, my name is Sam Hickmott, I'm studying to become a primary teacher. I am currently in my 1st year of teachers college and have almost finished my 2nd semester. So far I am really enjoying my course; however this semester has been difficult with the earthquake changing all my assignment times. My favourite subjects so far are art and music, followed closely by PE. When I am not at college I like to listen to music, watch movies, play board games and play video games with my mates. I help run a youth group at a church in Sumner and I am also a volunteer at the local youth centre. I'm looking forward to learning everything I can from your classroom and getting to know all the students.
