Kia ora everyone! I am Tony, a student at the University of Canterbury doing a post graduate diploma in primary teaching. I am doing a professional placement for the next 5 weeks under the guidance of Mr. Atherton. I am really excited about being here and hope to get immersed and learn a lot in the coming weeks. Thank you very much to the staff here, for letting me be a part of the school.
Here is a little bit of info about me. I have a Bachelor and Postgraduate degree in Science. I had been teaching Science in Japan and Korea since 2002. I met my future wife in Korea just after the FIFA world cup. My wife and I married in Ottawa 2005 and now have 2 kids (William our 19 month old boy and Tessa our 11 week old girl). Stephanie and I moved back to New Zealand for a life style change and now live in St Martins. On a side note, I am still trying to convince my wife that Christchurch usually doesn’t get this much rain!
