Ocean Predators
Sharks are extremely dangerous and are only allowed to go forward because the water has to be going forward, if they stop they will die.
There are over 350 types of sharks.
Sharks are fish which live in warm water and have cartilage instead of bones. Some sharks can go into fresh water and rivers.
Baby sharks are called pups and when they are born they eat a few eggs because the first born eats some of the eggs.
They have enemies like humans and killer whales.
They can grow up to 200,000 teeth. Sharks are huge and the biggest are the basking and whale sharks.
Sharks are dangerous and usually live in salty water.
