Air Jaws!
The students in the Room 8 writing class have been learning about sequencing our ideas in narrative writing. This has helped in students learning to write in paragraphs. Some of their ideas made fantastic reading and I wanted to share their superb learning. The context of the narrative description was on 'Air Jaws', sharks located in the waters around South Africa that breach the water.
The big ginormous shark lunges and lurks in the under waters. The great white shark is well adapted to the murky waters of South Africa. The big shark is swimming round in the murky waters it looks up and sees a baby seal swimming up the top of the waters happily. Suddenly the shark lunges out of the water and rips the seal in bits. The poor seal is chewed and ripped to shreds.
The scary shark only breach out of the water in South Africa where they have deep dark murky waters so they can pick up enough speed to jump out of the water.
When the shark has finished, he swims out to sea.

The powerful predator stalks his prey. The monster swims right down deep and then he zips back up and lunges out of the blue and snaps his prey.
When the monster has finished his delicious prey, the monster goes to find some more delicious food.
The powerful predator saw a burst of blood and then the monster swam up to the helpless seal and lunges up to the blue sky.

The brave humungous king of the ocean is a fully skilled silent killer. He is beastly vicious animal that can breach out of high waters. The enormous air jaws have razor sharp teeth. Its scaly body can protect him from anything.
The fast fierce king devours any animal or sea creature it can seek. The giant shark explores the murky waters knowing that he is the boss. The scary air jaws jumps twists and turns because of how smart he thinks he is with his cunning plan.
Sadly his plan worked and there are not a big number of seals left in the ocean; and there is nothing we can do about it. I hope you have learned as much about the vicious remarkable air jaws!

The great white ginormous shark is in the deep of the water and look's up with his beady eyes. Suddenly he finds a little brown seal pup but he can't stand just looking at the seal pup. So he goes 50 kilometres up at the little innocent seal pup. He gains his speed slowly, the mini seal looks down because he hears something.
He sees who it is; it is the Great White Shark. The seal pup feels alarmed. The seal pup was eaten.
In conclusion 'Air jaws' is a vicious enemy of seals.

The beastly sea enemy has very scary razor sharp teeth and likes to lunge out of the murky waters to feed on his prey.
The monster is very brave but very scary especially when encircling innocent seals. Seal pups only swim on top of the water and the great white shark sees them and eats them up.

The lunging killer senses some blood from a seal, he lunges up at the seal 50 kilometres per hour. Snap! The seal is gone in three large gulps.
Then he tries to find his next prey. It's real hard to sense the seal because of the blood.
The beastly killer thinks it's the dark red sea. Suddenly the great white hears a seal pup scoottering across the top of the ocean like a motorbike.
The starving beastly killer was so hungry that he went sprinting so fast that he missed him. Oh dang!

The scary 'air jaws' is hunting his prey and then he spots, and encircles the horrified seal. As time goes by the mother seal appears and about thirty seconds later the young seal is gone. The mother seal is terrified and off goes the shark.
All of a sudden the same shark is injured so the mother rushes over and the razor sharp teeth open up. The mother fled away so the shark releases the young seal.
